Do Kure products contain alcohol or fragrance?

Fragrances and alcohol in skincare are known to be one of the most sensitising ingredients. Since we always consider sensitive skin, not having fragrances and alcohol in our products was definitely a no-brainer.

Are all Kure products vegan?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we’re PETA-certified vegan and cruelty-free! We never test on animals and the full KURE product range is only plant-based.

How should I store my KURE products?

Our products are formulated to be kept at room temperature. As with all skincare, it is a good idea to keep them in a cool, dry place.

What is special about your packaging?

At KURE we work with experts in packaging to ensure the highest quality of premium protective packaging that minimizes exposure to air, light, and bacteria before and after use.
We source our packaging from locations in close proximity to our production facilities and we ensure that all our packaging are easily recyclable. That’s why all our bottles are made of glass and our boxes are FSC-certified cardboard.

How long is the shelf life of your products?

All sealed, unopened products can be used for up to 36 months after purchase; We recommend storing all products in a cool, dry place and closing tightly after each use. Please note that prolonged exposure to high temperatures, humidity and/or exposure to sunlight or air may adversely impact any formulation.
All beauty products need to be used by a certain period. This is known as the 'period after opening' and can be easily identified by the PAO symbol. The symbol can be recognised as the shape of an opened jar, and will have a number inside; 3M will indicate 3 months and 6M is 6 months. Once opened the product should be used in this period, as after this time the quality of the product will deteriorate.

Are your products suitable for use during pregnancy?

The most important ingredients to avoid while pregnant are retinoids (vitamin A), salicylic acid, parabens, phthalates and synthetic fragrances. Numerous studies prove these ingredients to be unsafe, and we do not use any of these in our skincare range.
When it comes to essential oils, there are many different views that are directly tied to where in the world you live. However, we decided to not formulate with any essential oils, as we specifically create our skincare with ingredients that are proven 100% safe to use.

Are your products Organic & Natural?

KURE products combine the power of naturally occurring and advanced science ingredients that are simple to use, highly effective, non-toxic, non-irritating, and absolutely cruelty-free. We do select organic ingredients for our products, but we made the conscious choice of not using labels such as ‘organic,’ ‘natural’ or ‘clean,’ which have no consistent definition and tell you nothing about a product’s safety or efficacy.

Can I use KURE Products if I have sensitive skin?

Absolutely. All of our products are especially designed for sensitive skin and should be gentle enough to be tolerated by even the most sensitive skin types. We like to avoid any superfluous and aggressive ingredients that can cause inflammation rather than Kure it.
However, everyone's skin is unique and skin can negatively react to any ingredient. For example, some people may find they are sensitive to natural ingredients such as essential oils or fruit extracts, and for this reason we display the full product ingredients within the product page of our website to enable customers to make an informed choice before purchase.
Even the most 'gentle' ingredients can cause a reaction in certain people's skin so we recommend patch testing a small amount of the product on the inside skin of the wrist area to ascertain its compatibility.

Where can I find the list of ingredients contained in your products?

The ingredient list (INCI) can be found on the product or on the packaging of every product. You can also see the list on the product pages on our website.

Do your products contain sodium lauryl sulfate or other chemicals?

Accepted Answer

KURE products are 100% natural and free from parabens, synthetic fragrance, mineral oil, petrolatum, PEGs, phthalates and silicones. This also means we do not use any sulfate derivatives or chemicals which can potentially harm the skin.
